The Reagan Business Incubator program provides the curriculum for entrepreneurship classes, as well as training for teachers and community partners who serve as mentors to students Reagan Business Incubator\u2019s key points of distinction, include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Blend of Lean Startup process with foundational business topics<\/li>\n<li>Authentic, real-world learning<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on problem solving<\/li>\n<li>Team teaching with classroom teachers, coaches, and mentors<\/li>\n<li>Ongoing professional development for classroom teachers and volunteers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Students Learn By Doing<\/h2>\n<p>Over the course of two semesters, students develop a business model canvas,\u00a0 gain market input on a minimum viable product, and continually revise all elements to improve their business model.<\/p>\n<p>Students acquire foundational business concepts, then apply those concepts to the team\u2019s new business idea. From concept to Minimum Viable Product to pitch,\u00a0 students are hypothesizing, testing, adapting and learning.
